The WGP Kickboxing is heading into its third event of the year with a very special edition. In its eleven years of history, the organization reaches its 70th show with a heavy card. The Max Rosenmann gym in the city of São José dos Pinhais, in Greater Curitiba, hosts the edition that is set to be historic.
In the main fight of the night, the heavyweight (94.1kg) belt will be on the line. One of the big Brazilian names in the category, Ariel Machado finally has his chance for the title against Lucas Paredes, who is moving up in division to fight for the title.
In the co-main event of the night, more excitement. The welterweight champion (71.8kg), Petros Cabelinho, defends his title for the first time against challenger Jones Coliseu, who replaces the injured Ravy Brunow after their duel, won by Ravy, at edition 68.
The card also includes another 18 bouts that promise to liven up the surroundings of the capital of Paraná.
