WGP Kickboxing returns to Brasília with title fight and second part of the Super 8 Challenger GP
Event takes place on May 19 in Brasília and puts Lightweight champion Renzo Martinez and challenger Cabelo Monteiro face to face; A weight duel between Brazil and Argentina and the second part of the Super 8 Challenger GP of the Super-Lightweights also heats up the card.
With little time after the last edition, WGP Kickboxing already has a date set for the third act of 2024. On May 19, at the AABB gym in Brasília, the organization presents WGP 75 with various attractions on the card. In the main fight of the night, Bolivian Lightweight champion (up to 60kg), Renzo Martinez, puts his belt on the line against Brazilian challenger Cabelo Monteiro. The event also features the second part of the Super 8 Challenger GP of the Super-Lightweights (up to 64.5kg), which includes the two remaining quarter-finals. On one side, Denis Junior and Mateus Machado face off, while on the other, the clash will be between Diego Piovesan and Alex Reis. The two winners advance to the semi-finals and join Vinicius Mestrinier and Gabriel de Lima, who secured spots at WGP 73. Another highlight of the main card of WGP 75 is the Special fight of the night, between Brazilian Julio Assunção and Argentine Marcos 'Wasabi' Rios, also in the Super-Lightweight division.
