The WGP Kickboxing arrives at a new home this April with a special edition!
The city of Aracaju, in Sergipe, will host the biggest striking event in Latin America for the first time on the next day 26, at the Constâncio Vieira Sports Gym. WGP 80 features a highly anticipated title fight as its main event. The champion in the Super Middleweight division (up to 78.1kg), Gustavo Jones, defends the title for the first time against challenger Marcos Carvalho. The event also includes a GP in the Super Lightweight division, with the matchups between Hugo Nascimento and Julio Assunção in one semifinal and Savio Durinho facing Mateus Pakitoo on the other side of the bracket. Another highlight is the presence of Williames Chacal, one of the most well-known names in martial arts in the state of Sergipe, who faces Paraguayan Misael Chamorro in a catchweight bout (up to 81.4kg).

WGP 80 will be held in partnership with the Government of Sergipe through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel) of the state. The agency is a great ally in promoting and supporting martial arts and athletes in the state and inaugurates the partnership with WGP. Thus, entry to the event will be free with the donation of 1kg of non-perishable food.
The delivery of food must be made directly at the entrance of the event and everything collected will be donated to a charity institution.
